Synkron Via CMS version 2.0 is released

Via 2.0 is just released. We have spent the period from the first release to now collecting input from customers and partners. On basis of this input we have trimmed the interface, improved features and added new modules. We have also fixed a number of bugs and expanded the documentation a great deal.

Among the new features are:

  • “Friendly” addresses on pages. This makes it easier to use addresses in, for example, printed material. No more www.site.dk/sw1234.asp or other cryptic addresses.
  • Network Folders can connect the server to folders with files that are not located on the web-server.
  • Search is now included in the package and supports, among other things, search in documents such as Word, PDF and Excel files.
  • Smart Lists makes it possible to automatically generate lists of content for example within a specific category, period of time or author.
  • Versioning and Workflow Management.
